My father, Sgt. Porter W. Dodge of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, served with the 10th AD and was a proud veteran and Member of the Post 361 American Legion and VFW in Mass until his death in 1981. I was contacted by another member, Wallace Ray Hardy of Mississippi a few years ago and he sent me some pictures of my dad and him at Ft. Benning. I would like to say thank you to all who served and would welcome anyone out there that might remember Wallace or my dad to contact me at pdodg@sprise.com. God Bless America, Home of the Free, Because of the Brave! Porter Dodge

My grandfather proudly served in the 10th Armored Division Command B. His name is Marcelino Moran but since most of the men in his division could not say his name they just called him Joe. That name stuck with him until he passed away on June 28, 2001. Family and friends called him Joe but people did not know the story behind it. At the age of 23 I stood next to his coffin and proudly told the story of how he got the name Joe. I miss my grandpa with all my heart and soul and I wish I knew more about his time with the "Tigers." If anyone can share anything please feel free to contact me via e-mail sidsimg12@msn.com. I also want to thank all the men who fought bravely beside my grandfather.

Very interesting website! The Tiger Division certainly had a tough task in World War II, and performed very admirably. My great-uncle, Staff Sergeant Arthur White, was killed in action with the 20th Armored Infantry Battalion during November, 1944. I found this site while trying to find some information about him.
